Armed Patriots Stand With Bosworth Against Feds!

As you may have seen repeatedly across your newsfeeds and televisions the imagery of President Barack Obama walking the Selma bridge commemorating that historic moment when Martin Luther King led thousands to face off against police who would fire tear gas and beat them with clubs… all because they desired the right to vote.

That historical moment was 50 years ago… now… flash forward…Spokane Washington, the Federal Courthouse:

A story that wasn’t celebrated by the media – where no dignitaries cared to stand for a photo-op. instead American snipers would train their barrels on fellow Americans – Americans who chose to stand their ground and draw a line in the sand on friday March 6th 2015… it was a rally for the right to bear arms.

The rally was a response to the arrest of Anthony Bosworth a week earlier. He was arrested in front of his family, interrogated like a domestic terrorist then later released WITHOUT CHARGE because he had broken no laws. All because he had an unloaded rifle on his back.

A group calling themselves “LIBERTY FOR ALL” decided this would not stand and organized the Rally. However they would take it one step further… they would hold the rally at the courthouse – with loaded rifles.

According to Kit Lange, of the Patrick Henry Society, the rally was monitored by DHS helicopters, and undercover agents under the cold crosshairs of DHS snipers.

Notice To The WA State Governor From Liberty For All

3/9/2015 –

Governor [Inslee],

When you took the office of governor of the State of Washington, you held up your hand and took an oath to uphold the Constitution of our great state. Included in that is the protection of citizens and their rights. In short, you took an oath to stand for the liberty secured by the WA State Constitution.

Article I of that document states that “All political power is inherent in the people, and governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed.” That consent is and always has been contingent upon the willingness of said government to protect and guard the rights of the people, because that is the entire purpose of government.

Currently the state and federal governments are seeking to control and enslave the people through denial of their rights. You are doing nothing to stop it.

Article II of that document reaffirms the Constitution of the United States as the supreme law of the land. Your oath to uphold the State constitution includes adherence to that statement. You are not upholding this oath.

Article III of the WA State Constitution states that “No person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.” Recently a WA state citizen was illegally arrested by the federal government and denied his liberty. His property was taken from him and has not been returned. Every single one of his rights secured by both the federal and state constitutions was violated. You have done nothing.

As governor of the state of Washington, it is your duty and your calling to serve the people of this state and protect their rights, whether you agree with their politics or not, whether you like them as people or not. Anthony Bosworth’s arrest was illegal, as evidenced by the rules being (illegally) changed after his arrest to reflect what the federal government originally arrested him for. His property was confiscated. He was kept in a steel cage for hours with no access to an attorney as promised by the Constitution, and interrogated for hours by federal agents, who laughed at his assertion of his rights.

It does not matter what your position is on guns, or whether you like Anthony Bosworth as a person. His rights were violated, and this happened on your watch. The Constitutions that you swore to uphold were violated before your very eyes by the federal government, and nothing has been done.

After the peaceful and calm protest of these violations at the federal courthouse in Spokane last week, the Southern Poverty Law Center—which has partnered with the Department of Homeland Security to help decide who’s an “extremist”—wrote an article predicting the arrest of Liberty for All members, including Anthony Bosworth, his wife Maria, Sam Wilson, and myself.

What is our crime? The exercise of rights protected—not granted—by the WA State Constitution and that of the United States of America. The exercise of rights you promised to uphold when you took office. We dare to speak of liberty, we dare to stand against tyranny, and now we are being threatened with the same fate that Anthony has already undergone once.

We, the patriots of Washington, appeal to you now. We want no fight. We want no conflict. We wish to be left alone in peace, to raise our families and live in liberty. We ask that you stand with us and stop this violation of our rights, as is your duty. Under no circumstances do we seek violence, nor will we start violence. We are not, in any way, “anti-government” as the SPLC claims. We simply demand that the government adhere to its Constitutional limits, protecting and maintaining the rights of the governed.

Please understand this: We will not comply with these continued infringements. We will no longer be controlled and have our rights violated. There is no more compromise. If an inch of liberty is taken from us, we will take back a mile. Because of this, we face persecution, arrest, and even death.

You can stop this from happening. It is your job to stop this from happening, by upholding your oath to the Constitution.

If you do not stand up now, patriots in your state will be arrested by an out of control federal government seeking to quash the liberty movement. If that happens, there will be a reaction among We the People that will have a ripple effect far outside Washington State. At that point, you will be complicit in the beginning of a civil war. That is not something any of us want.

We appeal to you as a father, a husband, as a man who has taken a solemn oath to protect and defend the rights of the people of Washington. You govern by our consent. If you would like to keep that consent, then we ask you to stand up for the people you serve. Regardless of your political position, the people have rights that must be protected.

We await and expect your public reply within 3 days. If we have not heard from you by that time, we will accept that your position is in agreement with those who wish to criminally enslave the people of Washington State.

Can Revolution Produce Freedom in the Technological Age of Surveillance and Control?

The topic of the Unabomber came up again. The favorite passage of transhumanist Ray Kurzweil and Bill Joy, founder of the now acquired Sun Microsystems in which Ted Kaczynski explains the “New Luddite Challenge” – essentially the question of what happens if computers take over, and if not, what happens at the hands of an elite who don’t need the masses for labor, or anything else. Will people be simply exterminated?

Will the population be gradually but sharply reduced through population control, eugenics, family planning and propaganda (as is actually happening now), or will the masses instead be treated as “pets” with cute hobbies and trivial pursuits, but no real meaning in society? The question remains, or could be a combination of all of the above.

In the face of mass unemployment and depopulation, is violent revolution justified? For reasons I explain, likely not. It is not clear who could be stopped with force that would result in stopping the tyranny; the tyranny exists, but it is systematic and compartmentalized in the hands of thousands, and probably millions of people. Moreover, violence has become a trivial event for media sensationalism and in justifying greater police state powers, etc. Thus, violence is the wrong approach on many levels, including moral.

Meanwhile, there is the question of liberty, and the kind of freedom that America’s Founding Fathers pursued circa 1776. Though other methods were attempting – the Tea Party protest, for instance – the revolution was ultimately fought through violent, guerrilla warfare. One of Thomas Jefferson’s most famous quotes – as author of the Declaration of Independence and third president of the United States of America – is: “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”

Years later, in his letters to John Adams, the second president and a former political enemy of Jefferson’s, Jefferson posed the idea that freedom could not so easily restored through violence, particularly if the public were unenlightened and uneducated in the ways of liberty and good self government.

Jefferson discusses the case of ancient Rome, where the usurped powers of Julius Caesar transformed the republic into a thoroughly corrupt dictatorship. Caesar was killed in a conspiracy by the Senate, led by Brutus. Ultimately, the Caesar family remained in control of the empire anyway.

But Jefferson argues that even if Brutus had prevailed, or other Roman freedom lovers such as Cicero or Cato in power, it would have been nearly impossible to create good government in the climate of corruption, and the era of debased, demoralized masses who were uneducated in the virtues of self-government….

General Douglas MacArthur’s Prophetic Warning to the American People

“The fundamental and ultimate issue at stake is liberty, itself—liberty verses the creeping socialization in every domestic field. Freedom to live under the minimum of restraint! A least common denominator of mediocrity against the proven progress of pioneering individualism! The free enterprise system or the cult of conformity! The result will determine the future of civilization. It will be felt on every human life. It will be etched in blazing rainbow colors on the very arch of the sky.” – General Douglas MacArthur –

Love him or hate him, the indomitable General of the Army, Douglas MacArthur (1880-1964), an indelible military genius, was a great American—perhaps one of the greatest. He was a patriot, a warrior, a statesman, a rebel, a leader, a brilliant commander, and a poet who never minced words nor failed to accomplish the mission at hand. He excelled at everything he put his hand to, and set the bar high and lofty for all men and women who are desirous to be actively engaged in the animating contest of Freedom. MacArthur lived in tumultuous times and presided over great struggles and battles fought for reasons up to and including the preservation of Liberty in every clime and place.

“You couldn’t shrug your shoulders at Douglas MacArthur,” observed historian David McCullough. “There was nothing bland about him, nothing passive about him, nothing dull about him. There’s no question about his patriotism, there’s no question about his courage, and there’s no question, it seems to me, about his importance as one of the protagonists of the 20th century.”

Once again, our nation and world finds ourselves on the brink of regional and global war and conflict which defined MacArthur’s time—the pre-staging of a third global conflagration with its preceding economic sanctions, currency wars and monetary realignments. With that in mind, the words in his farewell memoir could have been written today, because if you study the cycles of human nature, sociology, economics, weather, solar activity, civil unrest and war, history not only repeats itself, but also rhymes.

“There is no present or future—only the past,” wrote Eugene O’Neill, in A Moon for the Misbegotten, (1952), “happening over and over again…” And so it is in our day likewise recurring, the age-old cycles of plenty-to-poverty, peace-to-war, of which King Solomon hinted at in Ecclesiastes 1:9, “The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.”

Written in his own hand and finished only weeks before his death, General Douglas MacArthur’s memoir, Reminiscences (1964), spans more than half a century of modern history. The following excerpt is, in my opinion, the most important words he ever penned and at the same time the greatest warning he ever recorded on behalf of the benefit of the American people and our posterity regarding what he came to acknowledge as the treacherous domestic threat infiltrating our American way of life—a warning which has all but fallen on deaf ears.

Senator Rand Paul Excites CPAC Crowds For Liberty

Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul enjoyed one of CPAC’s most enthusiastic responses when he took the stage Friday to share his vision for the nation.

“Will you lovers of liberty rise to the occasion?” he asked, rousing the first wave of supportive applause from his audience.

“When politicians accept censorship,” he continued, “when politicians accept imprisonment without trial, when politicians support torture even of the innocent, then lovers of liberty must rise.”

He cited the willingness of America’s founders to stand up to a tyrannical king to establish God-given rights and liberty.

“Our freedom is at risk from a Supreme Court that fails to protect liberty,” he said. “Just as we are presumed innocent, we should be presumed free.”

Paul offered a few steps toward restoring our national freedom, beginning with the repeal of Obamacare and other policies he described as antithetical to America’s founding principles. Even fighting a global war on terror, he said, is not sufficient cause to limit the liberty of Americans….

“We must protect ourselves from jihadists without losing who we are in the process,” he said.

Our freedoms are being further threatened by our national debt, he said.

In the end, preserving individual liberty was the common theme of Paul’s address.

“We must remember our rights are unlimited, unenumerated, and given to us by God,” he said. “Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Your rights are in your DNA and the government can quite frankly get over it.”

His message obviously resonated with a large swath of the audience as many engaged in a chant of “President Paul! President Paul!”

Domestic Black Sites Now Operational

For nearly two decades alternative media has warned of government internment camps where citizens would be disappeared, detained and tortured with no regard for their rights. For nearly two decades the notion has been dismissed by the general population as just another conspiracy theory.

But a new report out of Chicago suggests that not only are such facilities real, they have now been actively integrated into the nation’s law enforcement apparatus.

The Chicago police department operates an off-the-books interrogation compound, rendering Americans unable to be found by family or attorneys while locked inside what lawyers say is the domestic equivalent of a CIA black site.

The facility, a nondescript warehouse on Chicago’s west side known as Homan Square, has long been the scene of secretive work by special police units. Interviews with local attorneys and one protester who spent the better part of a day shackled in Homan Square describe operations that deny access to basic constitutional rights.

“Homan Square is definitely an unusual place,” [Brian Jacob]Church told the Guardian on Friday. “It brings to mind the interrogation facilities they use in the Middle East. The CIA calls them black sites. It’s a domestic black site. When you go in, no one knows what’s happened to you.”

According to those who have been detained at the site against their will and absent their natural and constitutional rights, the Chicago facility is exactly what you might expect from a government run internment and detention center.

◾Family members and attorneys are unable to locate a detainee because those arrested and sent to the black site are never entered into booking databases. They are simply “disappeared.”
◾Detainees are beaten by police in what can only be described as torture.
◾Access to phone calls and judges are restricted so once you are in there is no way to call for help to let anyone know you are there
◾Attorneys are denied access because the site has been deemed a high security facility
◾People are regular shackled for extended periods of time

Keep in mind that the people in these facilities, because they are never sent through proper booking channels, are being held without charge or trial, a gross violation of the U.S. Constitution.

We’ve previously warned that these are exactly the kind of scenarios that would result from anti-terrorism legislation like The Patriot Act and the National Defense Authorization Act….

Why Anti-Authoritarians are Diagnosed as Mentally Ill

In my career as a psychologist, I have talked with hundreds of people previously diagnosed by other professionals with oppositional defiant disorder, attention deficit hyperactive disorder, anxiety disorder and other psychiatric illnesses, and I am struck by (1) how many of those diagnosed are essentially anti-authoritarians, and (2) how those professionals who have diagnosed them are not.

Anti-authoritarians question whether an authority is a legitimate one before taking that authority seriously. Evaluating the legitimacy of authorities includes assessing whether or not authorities actually know what they are talking about, are honest, and care about those people who are respecting their authority. And when anti-authoritarians assess an authority to be illegitimate, they challenge and resist that authority—sometimes aggressively and sometimes passive-aggressively, sometimes wisely and sometimes not.

Some activists lament how few anti-authoritarians there appear to be in the United States. One reason could be that many natural anti-authoritarians are now psychopathologized and medicated before they achieve political consciousness of society’s most oppressive authorities.

Gaining acceptance into graduate school or medical school and achieving a PhD or MD and becoming a psychologist or psychiatrist means jumping through many hoops, all of which require much behavioral and attentional compliance to authorities, even to those authorities that one lacks respect for. The selection and socialization of mental health professionals tends to breed out many anti-authoritarians. Having steered the higher-education terrain for a decade of my life, I know that degrees and credentials are primarily badges of compliance. Those with extended schooling have lived for many years in a world where one routinely conforms to the demands of authorities. Thus for many MDs and PhDs, people different from them who reject this attentional and behavioral compliance appear to be from another world—a diagnosable one.

I have found that most psychologists, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals are not only extraordinarily compliant with authorities but also unaware of the magnitude of their obedience. And it also has become clear to me that the anti-authoritarianism of their patients creates enormous anxiety for these professionals, and their anxiety fuels diagnoses and treatments.

In graduate school, I discovered that all it took to be labeled as having “issues with authority” was to not kiss up to a director of clinical training whose personality was a combination of Donald Trump, Newt Gingrich, and Howard Cosell. When I was told by some faculty that I had “issues with authority,” I had….

WHAT WOULD FREDERICK DOUGLAS THINK about Black History Month?

….February is recognized as Black History month. In my opinion, it is not securing the results the founders of a month dedicated to Black history had envisioned. I guess it’s biggest impact has been to encourage copycat special interest groups like homosexuals to dominate the month of June, for example. Ironically, the homosexuals plotted themselves within the month of June, which for a very long time was known as the month of weddings between men and women.

Personally I have always loved history. So, as a younger person when my interest in history was blossoming it was readily apparent that I developed a keen interest in how black Americans played a role in American history. I needed to know more than the tired tales of the woeful tragedy of slavery. However it was sometimes a little difficult finding the positive stories about Black American history that prior generations commonly learned about in school. I must credit my Dad for filling me in on numerous fantastic stories about numerous great American icons of history who just happened to be black and made positive impacts upon society. Whether through inventions, innovations, heroic battles in war, great inroads into the business world and even politics.

One of my favorite chapters of American history instructs us on the life and times of Frederick Douglas. He was born a slave in the year 1818. Seventy seven years later, he died of a massive heart attack at his home. During the decades between, Frederick Douglas lived as a sterling example of one who would not settle for the vision or even living standards others felt they had the right to impose upon him. Douglas’s voracious thirst for knowledge led him on an adventurous path that eventually exposed him to the authentic focuses of both Christianity and the United States Constitution.

It solidified his natural God given determination to live, be free and successful in this life. Frederick Douglas did not allow the racism of his era to be an excuse or a reason to live a bitter life of misery and lack. He believed he was great, not in a haughty sense, but in the recognition that he was created a human being meant for greatness, like everybody else. Thus his belief in God and himself helped propel him to become arguably the greatest orator of the nineteenth century….

Washington State Patriots Prepare To Be Arrested

Liberty activists and gun owners organized by Liberty for All and The Patriots Stand are converging at the WA State Capitol in Olympia on Saturday at a rally meant to protest and violate new rules imposed by the legislature banning open carry in public viewing galleries.

The Washington State Patrol is expected to arrest anyone entering the viewing chambers openly carrying a firearm, although individuals with a concealed pistol license will be allowed to carry concealed weapons into the chambers.

“If the legislature feels the need,” said Sam Wilson of Liberty for All, “to prohibit peaceful citizens from openly carrying firearms into the people’s viewing chamber, it certainly makes a reasonable person question what motivates them to disarm the people viewing them while they are in session, serving as the representatives of the people.”

The activists have expressed firm resolve to enter the chambers while openly carrying, but have made it clear they are planning a peaceful event, and have no animosity towards the Washington State Patrol….

The organizers have invited anyone to attend who wants to participate in the peaceful act of civil disobedience, but have stressed in a public statement that: “If you attempt to harass and/or assault the WSP, we will not support you. You will be arrested, and you will be on your own.”

Any and all citizens who understand the Second Amendment’s necessity and the right of the people are encouraged to attend, with or without a firearm….

When you woke up this morning, the last thing on your mind was probably the state of your gun rights. Maybe you own a gun, maybe you’ve never even held one. Maybe you use your gun to feed your family, shoot skeet on the weekends, or just keep in the closet for a time when you think you might need it. Some of you train with it, carry it daily, and it is simply another thing you grab in the morning along with your wallet and your keys. Whatever your familiarity with guns is does not matter. You don’t even have to like guns, don’t have to want them in your home. There are two facts that anyone familiar with history knows:

1) Before a regime commits horrific acts against its people, it first ensures the people have no guns to fight back with.

2) The freedom that you live under was paid for by a group of colonists who used their guns.

The Ottomans murdered over 1 million people between 1915-1917, after passing laws disarming the people. In 1918, Russia passed the first of its own gun control laws, demanding licensing of gun owners and later banning possession of them at all. From 1929-1945, the government murdered 20 million people. In 1928, Germany passed the Law on Firearms and Ammunition, followed by other gun laws in 1938.

Once the people were disarmed, they passed the Regulations Against Jews, opening the door for the barbaric slaughter of the Holocaust….

As you read this, there is a group of patriots in Washington who are standing up. On February 7th, they will stand for a third time in as many months against unjust laws meant to strip them of their right to defense. In fact, on the 7th they will stand against a state legislature that has said the people are not allowed to openly carry a firearm while viewing the proceedings of their own government. Think about that. The very people we elected, do not want their armed constituents to watch them at work, to see the things they do and say. The real question is what are they doing that they have to be afraid of the people?

These patriots will be arrested on the 7th, because some of them will choose while there to defy the unjust and tyrannical laws being forced on them. What awful thing will they be doing? Walking into a public gallery with a rifle slung over their shoulder. They are not monsters, or crazy gun nuts. They are Americans like you, who love their families and go to work and pay bills. They are Americans who value liberty more than anything else.

They are choosing liberty over peaceful slavery, and they are doing it because someone has to. But they are not standing for just Washington, they stand for all of you. Whether you live in Iowa or California, Maine or Wyoming, it is YOUR right to self-defense that patriots will defend on February 7th. They are being arrested to show that the right of you and your family to refuse to be a slave, is more important than their own comfort.

It no longer matters if you’re a gun owner or not, or if you hunt, or if you think guns are scary and don’t want one. Your continued liberty depends on someone other the government having all the guns, and if it’s not you, then someone else needs to stand. Right now patriots who don’t know you, don’t know your story, don’t even know if you support them or not, are getting ready to stand up for you and your babies. In fact, they’ll be standing to defend your right to call them extremists and….

We are standing for your liberty, no matter the cost. We call upon the patriots of this state and this nation to stand with us before it’s too late.

Liberty Church Project

Last year, I launched the Liberty Church Project. For several years, patriot Christians around the country had corresponded with me about their frustration with not being able to find a patriot pastor or liberty church in their area. Like me, these folks have grown weary with establishment 501(c)(3) churches that refuse to take a stand–and they are desperate to find a patriot church and pastor.

The two biggest reasons why pastors and churches have become either silent and submissive serfs or, in some cases, shills for government propaganda are the egregious misinterpretation of Romans 13 and the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization status under which most churches operate. The result is an American church that, for all intents and purposes, is completely incapable of being the “salt” and “light” for our country. These squeamish and compliant churches have left our nation virtually void of moral and spiritual leadership.

As I recently noted in this column: True Christianity has never been associated with, supported by, or underneath Caesar’s (civil government’s) auspices or benevolence. For most of the 2,000+ years of Church history, true believers met in non-state-sanctioned or even underground churches and fellowships. In fact, the Early Church was birthed in a baptism of persecution from both the civil government (Rome) and established religion (Judaism) at the time. Not until the unholy union of the Church and State under Theodosius I (almost 400 years after Christ) did Christians accept official sanction from government. And for many centuries to follow, the official merger of Church and State led to the persecutions and deaths of untold thousands of believers deemed heretics and outlaws because their religious beliefs contradicted those of the official state-sanctioned church.

Even in early America, state-approved denominations and churches were guilty of horrific persecutions against independent-minded Christians who refused to submit to the doctrines and liturgies of state-sanctioned churches. These state-church persecutions ultimately led Roger Williams to found the colony of Rhode Island and John Leland to convince James Madison that religious liberty must be the first in our Constitution’s Bill of Rights.

After the acceptance of our Bill of Rights, America’s churches enjoyed complete independent status, being answerable only to their Creator and their own conscience. All of that changed in 1954 when then-Senator Lyndon Johnson (D-Texas) successfully introduced the Johnson Amendment to the code of the Internal Revenue Service: the now-infamous 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization status for churches. This designation made churches a creature of the state–answerable to the direct dictates of government–even regarding speech and activity.

By accepting 501(c)(3) status, America’s churches have effectively become state-licensed or state-sanctioned organizations. In much the same way that churches in Communist China risk vindictive state sanctions for not complying with state control, so, too, churches in the United States risk vindictive IRS sanctions for not complying with state control.

What is more than interesting is the comparison between the churches in China and the churches in America. In China, Christianity is growing exponentially. In fact, there are now more Christians in China than there are communists. Please carefully read this report:

“Though the Chinese Communist Party is the largest explicitly atheist organization in the world, with 85 million official members, it is now overshadowed by an estimated 100 million Christians in China. It is no wonder Beijing is nervous and authorities are cracking down on Christian groups.

“Christianity is growing so fast in China that some predict that it will be the most Christian nation in the world in only another 15 years. By far, the greatest growth is coming outside the official state-sanctioned churches, which are rightly considered subservient to the Communist Party. Numbers are increasing, rather, in unofficial Protestant ‘house churches’ and in the underground Catholic church.”

Did you get that? Let me repeat it: “By far, the greatest growth is coming OUTSIDE [emphasis added] the official state-sanctioned churches, which are rightly considered subservient to the Communist Party [state]. Numbers are increasing, rather, in UNOFFICIAL [emphasis added] Protestant ‘house churches’ and in the UNDERGROUND [emphasis added] Catholic church.”

But what do we see happening in the United States? Christianity is waning BIG TIME. On the whole, churches are in steep decline. For the most part, only the entertainment-oriented, circus variety churches are growing. The numbers of Americans professing Christianity in general and expressing loyalty to a specific church or denomination are at historic lows. And the trend for 2015 and beyond is more of the same.

So, what is the difference? Why is Christianity proliferating in China and declining in America? China has an openly atheistic government. For all intents and purposes, the government in Washington, D.C., is equally atheistic. The federal government in D.C. is responsible for virtually every single attack against the expression of the Christian faith at every level of society. It is the federal government that attacks Christian expression in our local public schools. It is the federal government that attacks Christian expression in local governing bodies. It is the federal government that has all but permanently dismantled the expression of Christianity throughout our country’s public institutions. But so does the government in Beijing. Yet, in China, the Church is mushrooming, while in America, the Church is dying. What’s the difference?

The difference is, in China, Christians understand that to be loyal to Christ, they MUST NOT SUBMIT to state-sanction or license. And they are willing to defy Beijing authorities in order to be faithful to that conviction. However, in America, pastors and churches insist that they MUST SUBMIT to state control–even using Romans 13 to justify this preposterous position. Bottom line: state-sanctioned churches in America are withering, while non-state-sanctioned churches in China are mushrooming. There is no doubt that the trend in both countries will continue into and beyond 2015.

Until America’s pastors and churches “see the light” and consciously withdraw themselves from Caesar’s grasp (at whatever cost), Christianity in this country will continue to evaporate.

WILL FREEDOM SURVIVE 2015?

Something as precious and valuable as a nation’s freedom is not lost in a day–or even in a year. There is no single event that turns citizens into slaves. Oppression and tyranny are always long in the planning–and even longer in the making. Granted, there could be a single chain of events that results in a people’s enslavement: Lenin’s Bolshevik Revolution in 1917 Russia, Mao Zedong’s Communist Revolution in 1949 China, for example. But these events did not take place spontaneously or in a vacuum. Conditions for these enslavements had been ripening for years. Old barns don’t collapse without years–even decades–of mitigating factors (very obvious and noticeable factors). Neither do nations.

They say that we begin to die as soon as we are born. And in a philosophical meandering sort of way, I suppose that’s true. And if that maxim is true for individuals, it’s also true for nations. For example, the tyrant and betrayer of the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights, Abraham Lincoln, planted the seeds for the globalist Woodrow Wilson, who planted the seeds for the socialist Franklin D. Roosevelt, who planted the seeds for the corrupt Lyndon Baines Johnson, who planted the seeds for the narcissist Bill Clinton, who planted the seeds for Mr. Police State, George W. Bush, who planted the seeds for the Marxist Barack Obama. And all along the way there were Supreme Court justices, congressmen and senators, international bankers, and most of all very lethargic and lazy pastors, who facilitated and abetted the diabolical and duplicitous deeds of the aforementioned presidents.

In a very real and practical way, the American republic was birthed as a strong and healthy body amidst the blood of the patriots in 1775 and ‘76. Suffice it to say, the free republic of our forefathers is a very weak and diseased body today.

The malady that eventually takes the life out of a sick and diseased man may not have, by itself, been deadly, but coupled with years of preceding sicknesses, it is the one that is listed on the death certificate by the coroner as the cause of death. Such is also the case with a nation.

The numerous ostriches that are so quick to dismiss every national warning as being just another Chicken Little false alarm continue to dismiss any new attempt to awaken a distracted people with what should be obvious to anyone who can see. In truth, the vast majority of Americans are behaving exactly as did the very rich and pompous passengers on board the Titanic. As the stewards were rushing room to room and cabin to cabin warning passengers that the ship was sinking, they continued to frolic and dance, completely deaf and indifferent to the cries of the porters.

On the whole, the American people have ignored the warnings of freedom’s faithful stewards such as Barry Goldwater, Pat Buchanan, and Ron Paul. For the most part, the criers of liberty on the Internet and in talk radio are also ignored.

There are several reasons why so few seem to even see the water rushing up the floors of the ship of state. For one thing, too many of our men have abdicated their manhood. In the glorious history of liberty, when one would observe men with painted faces, they were marching into battle. Today, they are marching into football stadiums. Sports are more than a pastime; they are an addiction. Today’s American men are so beset by sports and pornography that they can barely see the reality that is staring them in the face.

A lying, deceitful, and deliberately conspiratorial national news media is also a major contributor to the collapse of the American republic. No doubt about it! Nazi Germany’s Joseph Goebbels had NOTHING on the propaganda machinery of the American mainstream news media. Put our public (and many private) education system on the list, as well. Yes, the entertainment pimps, who have sold their souls to lust and perniciousness and who love to corrupt the morals of young people, should also be on the list. And, last but not least, a very passive, indifferent, feel-good, corporate Church might possibly be the worst offender of all.

…. will the American people ever wake up? And, of course, the even greater question is, will the Church ever wake up?

Folks, when the Police State is fully functioning, there is no place to go except into submission or revolution. But revolution without righteousness is no solution at all. Rightly did Patrick Henry call it, “the holy cause of Liberty.” Without an understanding of the undergirding Natural Law principles of liberty, without an understanding of the rightness and justness of liberty, without a moral and reasoned conviction in the hearts and minds of men regarding liberty as the divine will of our Creator, no revolution could be blessed of Heaven. And that’s where the pastors and churches come in; and that’s where the pastors and churches are failing–and failing MISERABLY.

Will freedom survive 2015? There have been a myriad of contributing factors to America’s demise extending over a long period of time, but a Police State is the last and final stage of a diseased and dying nation. We are in that stage NOW. And America’s pastors are the only antidote.

WHAT IS IGNORANCE, TOLERANCE AND CORRUPTION BREEDING IN AMERICA?

Friends, can you imagine our forefathers George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, etc. sitting across the table from the likes of Barack Hussein Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry etc.? They would be speaking two different languages, would they not?

The forefathers advocated freedom by establishing the rights that God gave. On the other side of the table, we have the devil and his lawless minions distorting every word that our forefathers intended in an attempt to bring a people into bondage by enslaving them through slow and incremental encroachments.

Our forefathers would call for a reformation with a callback to the Christian religion and morality, which are the essential pillars of American society!

They would say that this is not the government that they established nor are the current representatives those who will keep a people free and prosperous. They would ask, “Why do the people of America suffer these abuses?”

While the founding documents are still with us, the authors are not. So, I will put myself in their place and ask the question, why is it that you suffer these abuses, and what it is that ignorance, tolerance and corruption breed?

First, the modern-day politician is the fruit of immoral, irresponsible and cowardly pulpits in American churches. If it is not the heretic Joel Osteen wholeheartedly affirming that Barack Hussein Obama is a Christian, then it’s Billy Graham’s grandson, Tullian Tchividjian, claiming that the pulpit is no place to speak on social issues. Incredible! (Luke 3:19)

Those are some inside the Church. But what about those outside the Church?
The fruit of the godless is even more rotten. Just this week, we heard from anti-christ columnist Valerie Taricowho wrote, “Why rape is so intrinsic to religion.” Tarico gratuitously and despicably asserts that God raped Mary. She then pays lip service to a number of mythological stories involving Zeus, Jupiter, Buddha and others before finally zeroing in on the true targets of her sniping: Christ, Mary and God the Father.

In December of last year, anti-theist Preston Smith gave an utterly moronic invocation at a city council meeting in Lake Worth, Florida. This was hands down one of the most twisted invocations I had ever heard or seen. With his incredibly effeminate voice, he offered lip service to Satan, Allah, Buddah, Zeus, and even Jesus, but he didn’t want to hear about damnation or judgment.

In direct contrast, our forefathers established the longest standing Constitution in modern history. They knew who their source was and where they needed to go to get the job done. So they went to their knees (Deuteronomy 8:18).

Reaping the Whirlwind With Charlie Hebdo

A handful of Muslims brutally murdered some French cartoonists for blaspheming their holy man. Have we learned something new from this?

Yes, it turns out Muslims (well, the fundamentalist types, not many, but more than you’d think, although not the majority, but a significant number, in no way “all,” but in some sense “all”) don’t believe in free speech, although we Westerners know that God wrote “free speech” on tablets of stone, and emblazoned a desire for it onto all human hearts. And free speech is, of course, the cornerstone of Western society (whatever that now is). Ergo, the Muslims (some, not all, but a lot, though not too many) are attempting to destroy Western society, blasting away at the very foundation by silencing “journalists.”

With that in mind, it is not enough for us to denounce the evil that is the coldblooded murder of mortal men, no matter what their line of work, by Muslim terrorists. No, the nature of the crime behooves us to identify with the pornographers at the now-understaffed French smut magazine Charlie Hebdo. Conservatives naturally begin with the caveat that we may find some of the products of their free speech—the ones that depict incest among the Holy Trinity, for example, an image I refuse to insert here—to be distasteful. (The pornographic depictions of Muhammad, on the other hand, we may qualify as “insults real or perceived.”) Yet even if you happen to find some of the journalistic enterprise of Charlie Hebdo to be distasteful, you must nonetheless stand with Charlie Hebdo and say “I am Charlie Hebdo” in French, or at least “you can and should be in solidarity with those dead journalists . . .”

Ultimately, we are being told that the Charlie Hebdo massacre teaches us the vital importance of pornographic insults, both to the Muslim god and to ours. Celebrating shockingly dirty, blasphemous magazines is our way of standing fast in the liberty wherewith the Enlightenment has made us free. How can we not identify personally with French cartoonists who depicted our Savior as a ravening sodomizer of His (and our) Heavenly Father? To do otherwise would be to undercut the very foundation of a free society, would it not? (One pauses to reflect on what it was that motivated David to take up his sling.)

….T.S. Eliot, in Notes Towards the Definition of Culture, asks “whether any culture could come into being, or maintain itself, without a religious basis.” Our civilization has rejected Christianity and now finds such things as “blasphemous or offensive speech” to be sacred. This is the illogical ideology of Western liberalism. Today, the false religion of Western liberalism is clashing with another false religion called Islam, because their people wish to occupy the same spaces. Neither is tolerant of the other, and both are intolerant of Christianity. One has Pussy Riot to desecrate churches, and the other has imams who preach murder in the name of Allah. But Western liberalism is not only a false- but a pseudo-religion. Its platitudes derive not from divine revelations real or imagined but from denatured Christian morality. No culture can “maintain itself” on the basis of Western liberalism. Instead, the very ideology that demands abstract “free speech” with no divine revelation, even vestigially, to restrain it is the same ideology that cannot say no to Muslim invaders who wish to kill the purveyors of the sickest incarnations of “free speech.” We have sown the wind, and now we are reaping the whirlwind.

Today’s Charlie Hebdo episode is yesterday’s The People Vs. Larry Flynt, Western liberalism’s celebration of transcendent porn for freedom’s sake. In response to that film and its message, National Review’s Jonah Goldberg presciently wrote that

The argument from supposedly liberty-loving liberals goes like this: We protect “extreme” and unpopular speech because if that is safe, they’ll never get to our core liberties. If they can ban trash, argue the slippery-slopers, what’s to stop them from banning criticism of politicians?

Goldberg also said that “the notion that smut is the canary in the coal mine of our liberties is a profoundly asinine and dangerous myth, and it may be costing us the things that really matter.”

I couldn’t agree more. And yet, unfortunately, we are now getting the same argument from liberty-loving conservatives. Out of the dankest clap-ridden cesspool of the Playboy Mansion’s grotto has crawled a dogma of conservative ideology. In this ideology, to refuse to celebrate the “journalism” of Charlie Hebdo is to suggest that its staff deserved to die. That, of course, is absurd. In addition to the Muslim killers, what really deserves to die is the liberal notion that free speech is guaranteed by unfettered obscenity.

A recent study by professors Martin Gilens of Princeton and Benjamin I. Page found that the U.S. now resembles an oligarchy rather than a democratic republic.

“The central point that emerges from our research is that economic elites and very well heeled organized groups representing business interests have substantial independent impacts on U.S. government policy, while mass-based interest groups and average citizens have little or no independent influence.” Means the aristocracy gets the lion share of the pie and everyone else gets the crumbs…

The author of a recent commentary about oligarchy in the 21st century, Matthew Continetti, of the Free Beacon, might even suggest that last phrase be repeated.

“Mass-based interest groups and average citizens have little or no independent influence on legislation or the law…..”

Continetti wrote:
“What we, the commoners, are now in danger of losing is the classical liberal values of personal freedom, of religious liberty, of equality before the law, of free markets,”…….WHY???? Because of the ‘extreme inequality in terms of political influence and the production of knowledge and information is managed and controlled by the elite….’.

Continetti continues “The inequality of income our bipartisan ruling class sanctimoniously condemns is the very tool it uses to shore up the inequalities of power and communication from which it benefits. Affluent, self-righteous, self-seeking, self-possessed, out of touch, hostile to dissent, triumphalist like Soros– is what oligarchy looks like in the 21st century,” .

The study looked at 1,779 policy issues and found that, “The probability of policy change is nearly the same (around 0.3) whether a tiny minority or a large majority of average citizens favor a proposed policy change. Commoners have little or no influence over the law and legislation…

CHRISTMAS HEROES: Parents Fighting Anti-Christian Agendas

How ironic that as children all across the nation prepares to take part in various Christmas season events that they, in far too many cases, will not be allowed to actually celebrate Christmas. But to be honest, it is far more serious than just celebrating Christmas. Each day millions of students are sent by their parents off to build a solid academic base as well as learn about our American values in school. Those values and principles are built upon Judeo-Christian beliefs. In 2013 there were over 400 biblical principle attacks on children who wanted to read a Bible before or after school or even during lunch break and were denied.

When your child returns from the Christmas holidays will he or she still have to learn and embrace the teaching of Islam in the classroom, but have the teaching of biblical history overruled? What happens when the topics your child may be learning are ideals and values that marginalize how you have raised them and articulate an agenda that compromises your family’s religious beliefs? This is not something that can be overlooked simply because the child is heading home for a Christmas break.

Actually this serves as the best time to discuss and share what your beliefs are and reinforce the reasons why you will stand up for them when your child returns to school in the New Year. Don’t accept the erroneous church and state separation argument that liberal school officials try to jam down the throat of Christian parents. Your child has U.S. Constitutional rights and they must be protected….

So it really is upon you. As a parent what are you willing to sacrifice to stand up and protect your child from a school or a school district that is willing to take away or marginalize your child’s values and principles because it is convenient for them? Are you willing to tolerate unfair and illegal treatment of your child? Are you willing to let the politically correct values of liberal parents and secular anti-Christian organizations dominate your life, principles and support of America’s biblical heritage?

America has a culture that rises up from the deep foundational values that guided the founding fathers….parents that pray over their decisions at their kitchen table, or in the living room or perhaps during the church service. As a responsible parent they take a stand on principle rather than they should turn over their role and responsibility to the offending teacher, principal, submitting to the will of a partial anti-Christian school administrator or local school board member. They are not like others who take the easy route and conveniently swallow their principles and their values….

Take a page from Samuel Adams, who was one of America’s Revolutionary Heroes and a Founding Father. Adams’s father was a church deacon and was deeply influenced by him. Adams spoke of lukewarm supporters saying,

“If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

Let liberty and your children and America’s future generations be your guide and your prayer as you celebrate this Christmas season. There is no tranquility in servitude to political correctness, so take off the politically correct chains of convenience that are used to shackle your children. Praise the birth of the Son of God and fight to protect your child and their future in the New Year as their Hero!

Those Ungovernable Colonists

The American colonies must have been an unruly place, full as they were of religious fanatics and slave traders, second sons and fortune hunters, criminals and former political prisoners, and all manner of people in between. The first settlements hugged the coast, where one set of adventurers looked seaward while another looked to the interior wilderness. It was, in retrospect, almost inevitable that North America would quickly become the wealthiest place in the world by the 17th century.

Why? Because those seditionists, fanatics, and gamblers were impossible to rule. While we are counting our blessings this Thanksgiving, let’s not forget to count that one: Our ancestors did not much like being told what to do, and we — and the world — are immeasurably richer and happier for that.

Edmund Burke called the Crown’s attitude toward the colonies “wise and salutary neglect,” but it was as much pragmatism as it was policy. There were many colonies and colonists, they were not of a uniformly obedient type, they were far away — and, most important, they were extraordinarily productive. By the latter half of the 18th century, there were more iron forges in the American colonies than in Britain, the colonies were exporting millions of barrels of flour and tons of other agriculture products, and one out of three ships in the British merchant fleet was American-built. The economy was booming, and most of the population still lived in rural or semi-rural areas, far from the amusements of urban life, which may explain….

The Liberty to Leave

As the Scots debate independence, the British government has responded with every argument imaginable—except the threat to invade. Prime Minister David Cameron is no Abraham Lincoln.

So also it appears with Catalonia’s push for a referendum to secede from Spain, though the latter responded far less gently to Basque separatism in past years. No one threatened military action during Quebec’s lengthy flirtation with independence from Canada. The Czechoslovakian government peacefully, even cheerfully, bade farewell to Slovakia two decades ago.

Still, not everyone is willing to accept smaller territories going their own way. Yugoslavia broke up with an orgy of violence. Oddly, the United States supported every resulting independence bid, except those mounted by Serbs. The latter were expected to live under Muslim-Bosnian, Croatian, and Kosovar-Albanian majorities, irrespective of the rulers’ brutality. Washington even mounted a military campaign to break Kosovo off of Serbia, while reacting hysterically to similar Russian behavior toward Abkhazia and South Ossetia, which seceded from the country of Georgia. Washington responded equally badly to Crimea’s departure from Ukraine, though no one really knows the wishes of that majority-Russian land, since the official referendum was anything but fair.

In international politics the only rule regarding secession is that you get to do it if you can either convince or force the other party to agree. And there is no consistency even within a country. Today it is hard to imagine Washington launching drone strikes or sending in the 82nd Airborne if Texas voters approved an ordinance of secession.

Yet the U.S. government waged war on its own people during the American Civil War. In fact, it really wasn’t a “civil war,” which typically involves two or more parties seeking to control the territorial whole. In this case, it was a conflict over coerced union. Should states be prevented from severing a political connection they no longer support?

How Christians And Conservatives Are Helping To Destroy America

What makes America America? What distinguishes this country from the nations of the world–or from world history, for that matter? Even casual historians must admit that there has never been a country like the United States of America ever to exist. This nation is unique to world history. There has never been a country like this–and probably will never be one like it again.

As hard as it is for the anti-God types to admit, America has a deeply-rooted Christian history and culture. However, when one says, “America is a Christian country,” (usually spoken by a Christian, of course), he or she may mean something that NEVER existed. So, let’s set the record straight: America was never founded as a theocracy. And even though there are some well-meaning, albeit naïve, Christian people today who pretend that America once had, and should have again, a theocratic-type government and society, the fact is, America was NEVER a theocracy.

The only theocracy in the history of the world was Old Testament Israel under Moses. After the death of Moses, God expected Israel to be governed by the principles established through Moses. Even the reign of Israel’s greatest king, King David, could not be classified as a theocracy. He, too, was expected to adhere to the tenets and principles of Moses. Only through Moses did God directly govern the people. And even within the government of Israel, God established the roots of what became known as republican (small “r”) government. But I will save that discussion for a later day.

So, if by “Christian nation” people mean that America was established as some sort of theocracy, they are gravely mistaken. It is also unfortunate that some well-meaning (at least, I think they are well-meaning) Christian people give the unchurched world the impression that they are trying to create some sort of theocracy in America today. Some even go so far as to teach that we don’t need a Constitution or State and municipal laws–and any such laws are themselves evil. This is an asinine philosophy, to say the least.

I, for one, would never want a so-called theocracy administered by the likes of the vast majority of Christian teachers and pastors today. Are you kidding? Most of them can’t even govern a small congregation of believers who are ostensibly assembled under the same ideology, same eschatology, same ecclesiology, etc. Have you been to a church business meeting lately? You really want those people dictating national laws? God forbid!

No! There is no Moses on the scene today with new revelation dictating God’s will for the nation. That being said, there is no mistaking the fact that America has a deeply-rooted, rich Christian tradition.

America’s founders, even those who were not professing Christians, as we understand the term today, acknowledged that fact.

The principles of the Christian faith include both Natural and Revealed Law. The Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights, especially, clearly illustrate the founder’s understanding and appreciation for these principles.

The Declaration begins, “When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which THE LAWS OF NATURE AND OF NATURE’S GOD [emphasis added] entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the cause which impel them to the separation.

“We hold these truths to be SELF-EVIDENT [emphasis added], that all men are CREATED [emphasis added] equal, that they are endowed BY THEIR CREATOR [emphasis added] with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.”

As Thomas Jefferson quickly penned the Declaration (and he did write it rather quickly), he was borrowing heavily from John Locke and the commonly understood principles of Natural Law. Though the founders were dissimilar in regards to their understanding of Biblical teaching, to a man, they understood and agreed with the “self-evident” principles of Natural Law, or “the Laws of Nature.”

Furthermore, virtually every “right” enumerated in the Bill of Rights can be traced directly to commonly understood principles contained in Natural and Revealed Law. That fact is unassailable….

Some of the most enslaved people on the planet are professing Christians. Many of our churches, Christian schools, colleges, seminaries, etc. are filled with the “servants of men.” The fact that our public education system fails to teach children to think critically is only matched by too many of today’s churches and Christian schools.

Not only do so many Christians have a slave mentality; they also have a war mentality. Who are the ones who are the first and loudest cheerleaders for perpetual wars of aggression in the Middle East? Christians and conservatives! But why should that surprise us? Look at our churches. What do you see? Perpetual war: infighting, gossip, slander, backbiting, name-calling, character assassination, etc. Some of the most mean-spirited, low-down, dishonest, conniving, and blood-thirsty people on the planet call themselves Christians. Believe me, if they could get away with it, there is no telling how many people in our country would be losing their heads at the hands of these pious-talking Christians. Hatred and bitterness is nothing more than murder of the heart; and millions of professing Christians are as guilty as can be….

The assault against the United States is massive. We are fast losing our Christian heritage and culture–and Christians are as much to blame as anyone. They have tried to turn the Lord’s Church into a playground or entertainment center–or even worse, a corporation. Phariseeism is rampant. As a result, unbelievers have lost all respect for churches in general. I, for one, don’t blame them.

We have lost our understanding of, and appreciation for, Natural Law. Even most pastors cannot articulate the fundamental principles of Natural Law, even though this is the Law upon which America was founded. This means, we have lost the true meaning of America’s Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights.

We cheer as our country has turned into a “Warfare State.” We applaud as our nation has turned into an Orwellian surveillance society. We are losing our common language, our common history and heritage, and our common faith. Christianity in 2014-15 is not even comparable to Christianity in 1775-76. We have traded Jonas Clark for Joel Osteen….

Many people, despite our evolved state and position as the dominant species on our little spaceship Earth, live their lives like animals.

We have given a myriad of opportunities made available by the “evolutionary brain explosion” and still, many people CHOOSE (due in part to social conditioning) to use only a fraction of the 10% of our brains we supposedly use.

While it would be arrogant to say that libertarians have ALL the answers, we do have something valuable to share that seems to go in line with the general intellectual approach shared by most of us.

Freedom is simply one conclusion of a rational analysis of the human condition, but it has many implications. It is not simply a political conclusion—that without the force and coercion of government, we will all be better off—it is also a moral code and a higher calling.

The message of freedom is simple: You as a free, beautiful, independent human being, own yourself, and therefor it is wrong to forcibly violate the rights of others.

It would seem we could present this not just as a nice idea that will just so happen to completely upend the social order when embraced, but as a scientific principle: human relationships are better overall for everyone involved by any metric when they are free of violence and coercion.

Hearing people debate this must sound like the flat earth vs round earth arguments. It’s funny that despite our intelligence and unique capacity for rational analysis, we still routinely reject science on behalf of our insecurities and fears.

The opposite of freedom is slavery—supposedly complete control by others.

Under modern governments, we live a state of semi-slavery.

Governments certainly act like they own their citizens like tax cows. The reason they get away with it is that most people deny or avoid this. Those who simply chafe against control and avoid it often do so with a certain cognitive dissonance because of feelings of guilt imposed by their fellow tax cows demanding that everyone “pay their fair share.”

Regardless of how much people avoid taxation, most of us give up or have stolen from us large chunks of our productivity to support governments, but far more is being stolen.

We can all be placed on a scale from zero to autonomous for how we choose to live.

When a child is born, he or she is in a state of zero autonomy, completely dependent and incapable of making decisions far beyond his or her own bodily functions. Most people only partially grow out of this state and maintain a degree of subversion to the authorities of their lives. In a sense, we all do this to some degree to the extent that we allow the emotional manipulations and bullying of others to compromise our respect for our own individual will.

You Keep Using That Word? Religion v. Liberty

Several people approached me last week about their personal efforts to fight the erosion of liberty in the world today. They were soliciting our help in spreading their plan to return to the freedoms they believed the Constitution afforded America at one time in our history….

While they believed that understanding the contents of my books, like The Covenants of the gods, is essential to groups like the Tea Party and other patriot organizations for educational purposes they expressed concerns that most of them did not want to hear anything about -religion.

I thought that was funny and immediately thought of the line from the movie The Princess Bride where Inigo Montoya comments to Vizzini, “You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.”

I understand why people seeking liberty do not want to hear about “religion” and I would not want to spar with them concerning the stuff posing as religion today. The real reason for their mental taboo of the term is that today the word religion does not mean what they think it means.

The definition of the word religion has changed in the minds of modern society since the Constitution1 was written and even more so since James defined pure religion in the Bible. It is important to understand the meaning of words at the time they are used. There is power in words because “the generality of mankind is wholly and absolutely governed by words and names”.

If you are going to study the words of older documents like the Constitution of the United States you need to use the dictionary used at the time men wrote that document. Modern dictionaries often cite much different definitions. The most common dictionary used for the Constitution is John Bouvier’s Law Dictionary but that is not where most of you get the definitions you have in your mind for the words you use every day.

When someone uses the word religion today they might think the word means:

“a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs or a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects…”

But if you look up the same word in a dictionary published just a hundred years before, when many words we commonly used today were being changed, you will see that the word “religion” according to Webster’s Revised Unabridged Dictionary (1913) meant:

Jesus and Power Politics

This scene portraying Jesus like a drunken, hippie, wild man has been reinforced by popular media. But suppose that interpretation is as ridiculous and as unenlightened as most other things in the mainstream media. If mainstream media promotes this view of Jesus, isn’t that the first clue that something smells funny? But how would they know any better since the same picture is promoted in government-licensed churches?

There’s a way of looking at this passage that makes much more sense…and makes Jesus a much more impressive character…

…a picture of high-powered politics emerges. Jesus was the newly recognized king of Judea which was one of the world’s richest nations that included a major port city and was the pivot point of many trade routes. Just as a new US president fires the judges of the previous president, it was Jesus’ responsibility to replace government employees with those he trusted.

The new king was turning over the banking system (Federal Reserve) and “tax collection” duties to people he trusted. In fact, he was re-instituting a style of government based on freewill offerings as Abraham and Moses originally setup for Israel. But the pharisees had become rich off the FORCED contributions of the people (taxes), hence they conspired to kill the new king that was upsetting their cushy lifestyle.

Ask JFK if politics has changed much in 2000 years.

What IS The Bare Minimum…?

Do YOU trust ANY of the multiple governments (parrish, precinct, school district, city, county, state, national and international) that TAX you and claim to rule YOUR ONE AND ONLY life? Do you really think ANY of those governments employees give a damn about YOUR life, liberty or property—other than making some pretense to confiscate all three of them?

During the 20th Century, governments murdered over 200 MILLION of their own citizens. The institution of Government is the largest terrorist organization known to mankind. The irrationality of Government has ALWAYS led to collapse of the societies and cultures build around them or conquered by them. I have seen many governments collapse even during my own lifetime. There is a massive historical example from which to draw some lessons. It occurred when the Imperial Roman Empire collapsed.

When central governments collapse (and they ALL do collapse!), what is the nature of the agreements that people will make to provide for the security of themselves and their family?

So you see the culture collapsing around you and you have your food and ammo stockpile, your secure location with power, water, garden and livestock, your gold and silver coins and your trade-able skills, but do you have an explicit political arrangement with your friends, neighbors and like-minded associates?

Have you given consideration to the following question? It is a question that Anarchists and Agorists and libertarians DO NOT ask and one that Statists WILL NOT ask.

What *IS* the ABSOLUTE BARE MINIMUM that Voluntary Groups of any size—two people or more—need to agree upon, in order to live together peacefully and productively?

Ron Paul: Secession Is a Grand American Tradition

On the heels of a failed attempt in Scotland to separate from the UK, longtime American lawmaker Ron Paul is opening up about his take on secessionism in the United States.

Recent polling suggests that roughly a quarter of Americans support the notion of being able to have their state separate from the rest of the US, and Paul — the 79-year-old former Republican congressman and three-time presidential hopeful — says citizens who celebrate that inkling are expressing something inherently American.

“Americans who embrace secession are acting in a grand American tradition,” the ex-lawmaker wrote in an editorial published on Sunday by the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity. “The Declaration of Independence was written to justify secession from Britain. Supporters of liberty should cheer the growth in support for secession, as it is the ultimate rejection of centralized government and the ideologies of Keynesianism, welfarism and militarism.”

Paul goes on to cite a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll that found roughly 23.9 percent of Americans strongly support or tend to support the idea of having their state break away from the US in acknowledging that the secessionist movement isn’t something solely making waves in Scotland right now, where residents voted earlier this month 55.3 percent to 44.7 percent in favor of staying with the UK.

“Even though it ultimately failed at the ballot box, the recent campaign for Scottish independence should cheer supporters of the numerous secession movements springing up around the globe,” Paul wrote on his website.

“The possibility that people will break away from an oppressive government is one of the most effective checks on the growth of government. It is no coincidence that the transformation of America from a limited republic to a monolithic welfare-warfare state coincided with the discrediting of secession as an appropriate response to excessive government,” he added.

Are Christians Idiots?

When Christ spoke of the Kingdom there was a revolution going on in Judea and the world. The policies and practices of politicians and people had the world on a one way road to social and economic destruction. John the Baptist and Jesus were turning the world upside down. They were shaming the hypocrites who claimed to be following Moses but did not know him nor the God who sent him to free the people.

Acts 4:13 “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.”…

Christians provided for one another in charity and did not participate in the free bread welfare of Rome as we see the Pharisees doing.4 The Pharisees had chosen Caesar’s ways and government as their benefactor. The Christians were not involved in the public affairs of the Pharisees. Christians were involved in public affairs of Christ working daily in the temple.5

The temple in Jerusalem, the same as those of Rome, was the center of their social welfare. With the baptism of John, Christ’s followers, who were eventually called Christians, had opted out of a social welfare system that had snared the people under the authority of Herod’s welfare state.6 Christians had another king, one Jesus, and were standing fast in the liberty of Christ. The persecution of Christians by public magistrates was often based on their refusal to participate in the temple welfare systems of Rome.

The word translated marvelled in Acts is “thaumazo” which is also translated in the Bible as “have in admiration” and “admire.” They were impressed and yet they did not like what they were hearing. Many modern Christians would not want to hear the truth of what the early church was doing either.

The Individual vs. The Monolithic State

Underneath that formulation is the Individual.

“The people” is a convenient term for “every INDIVIDUAL.”

This has been lost in translation. It has been garbled, distorted, just as the proprietor of an old-fashioned carnival shell game distorts the audience’s perception with sleight of hand.

Are “the people” one group? Well, that’s the ultimate Globalist formulation.

Scottish Independence: What Would Braveheart Do?

No matter how the vote turns out on Thursday in Scotland, either for independence or continued union with Britain, the disintegration of the Old Continent appears almost inevitable.

Already the British government has conceded that, even if the Scots vote for union, Edinburgh will receive greater powers to rule itself.

Cheering for the breakup of the U.K. are Catalans and Basques, Bretons and Corsicans, Tyroleans, Venetians, Flemish, all dreaming of nations of their own carved out of Spain, France, Italy and Belgium.

Europe’s secessionists have waxed ever stronger since the last decade of the 20th century when the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia splintered into 22 nations and Czechoslovakia broke in two.
