Fukushima: Death in the Pacific & Censorship

First we all heard of the massive 9.0 offshore earthquake and tsunami. Later we learned that tsunami had taken out the Fukushima-Daiichi nuclear power plant in northern Japan. The rest, as they say is history; except that history is generally covered in the press and media of the day. The first casualty of this on-going planetary disaster, was the truth. Tepco and the Japanese government clamped the cover-up lid down hard & fast to conceal their ineptitude and incompetence.

The first official American involvement came when the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan was sent into the area for assessment and assistance. The first act of American censorship came when the ship and crew were exposed to lethal levels of radioactive fallout from the initial explosion. That cover-up continues to this day, naturally. When it wants to the American government can move with lightning speed, which was about how fast west coast radiation sensors were turned off. Interestingly enough, soon thereafter our illustrious leaders quietly increased the personal radiation exposure levels; while saying publicly there was no reason for alarm. Every year they quietly increase the “safe” levels a bit more…same way you cook a lobster!

At first there was some reliable data getting onto the internet, specifically projects which tracked and reported on the release of radioactivity into the environment but such sites were scrubbed from the internet with maddening efficiency. Now four years later about the best places for Fukushima related news is rense.com, and enenews.com. Websites such as these; and a handful of fearless investigators and reporters are constantly pushing back against the oppressive censorship surrounding all things Fukushima.

It is no mere accident that everything on the world stage began speeding up; with one disaster or horror following fast in the footprints of another, or that all of this is happening in step with the spiritual awakening currently underway. Every day more people wake up and look around, wondering if we’re heading for Evolution or Extinction?

Instead of attempting to contain the disaster and save lives, the Japanese government did two things specifically which were the exact opposite. First they trucked radioactive tsunami debris all over the country and burned it to ensure uniform exposure to radiation across all of Japan; so nobody would flee to a safe zone. No safe zones was the official solution. How exactly is this not a crime against humanity? Or for that matter the continuing practice of pumping many thousands of gallons a day of radioactive coolant & waste water directly into the pacific ocean? For these flagrant violations of multiple International laws, these actions haven’t even gotten the Japanese government as much as a fine or even harsh language. Ever wonder about that? I do.

Official denial and censorship aren’t likely to find many detractors among the general population on the forbidden subjects of Fukushima and the continuing release of radioactive elements into the air and sea. Don’t ask, we don’t want to know. Remember during the BP gulf oil spill and the running day count clicker on every newscast? Ever wonder why they don’t do that for Fukushima coverage, because there is none! We don’t really care to know about Fukushima: the Monster Under Our Bed so we pull the covers up way over our head and go thru the motions of our daily lives as if it never happened….

A man who recently crossed the Pacific wrote that during the entire passage he saw just one bird, and a single fish.

The Pacific Ocean is dead and the reason is so simple any grade school kid can understand it. The food chain has collapsed! Beginning with the very smallest and most fragile lifeforms, krill etc. and working up to the larger bait fish like sardines and herring, the radiation has systematically devastated the smaller more fragile species. Their tiny bodies simply cannot tolerate such massive doses of radiation, so they died off, rather quickly. In turn the organisms which fed on the bait fish starved, and so on all the way up the food chain to the marine mammals at the top of the list.

Whales have been dying and beaching in record numbers. As many as 15000 baby sea lions recently washed up dead in California; with thousands more sick & dying, leaving the ocean as if escaping from it. Many species normally only seen in the deep ocean are now crowding the shallow waters off the west coast. Recently the orca population has been decimated with sickness, and open lesions & sores. The orcas have stopped their singing, perhaps because no orca pup has survived its first year of life. Did I mention orcas are at the top of the marine food chain?

Similar events are beginning to occur ever more frequently in places far removed from the Pacific Ocean, its a pattern of spreading radiation. Yes, I’m aware that many who do report on these marine die-offs attribute the deaths to a virus or disease, but the truth points to itself. Trying to blame the death of the Pacific Ocean on a virus is just the syntax of the intentionally blind. In a staggering case of intentional blindness the Canadian government has recently banned radiation testing. What does your gut say about that?

….Considering how fast the Pacific Ocean has degraded life sustainability with a collapsed food chain; I shudder to think what it will be like on dry land four years from now. Look for safe places to relocate, away from military installations and big cities. The longer you wait to relocate the harder its going to be. You don’t want to be part of the hordes leaving the cities once they begin to break down in a few more years or so. Go now, find kindred spirits who are like minded, create your own community off grid. At the very least, move to a small community in a relatively safe zone right now, and become a functional part of it before everything goes to hell in the big cities. There is going to come a time when being a desperate, wandering stranger is the very last thing you want to become…

Fishermen ‘shocked’ at silence: wrecked Fukushima plant leak

Fishermen in Fukushima Prefecture slammed Tokyo Electric Power Co. on Wednesday after it emerged that water containing cesium and other radioactive isotopes has been draining into the Pacific near the Fukushima No. 1 plant and that Tepco did nothing to prevent it despite learning of the leak last May.

“I don’t understand why (Tepco) kept silent even though they knew about it. Fishery operators are absolutely shocked,” Masakazu Yabuki, chief of the Iwaki fisheries cooperative, said at a meeting with Tepco officials.

Local fishermen have already given Tepco approval to dump groundwater into the ocean before it becomes tainted, to reduce the volume of water stored in tanks at the site. The operator is now doing this, pumping water from wells, monitoring it and piping it into the ocean.

The latest incident threatens to delay a second round of approval that Tepco wants the fishermen to provide.

The utility admitted Tuesday it failed to disclose leaks….

Fresh nuclear leak detected at Fukushima plant

Sensors at the Fukushima nuclear plant have detected a fresh leak of highly radioactive water to the sea, the plant’s operator announced Sunday, highlighting difficulties in decommissioning the crippled plant.

Tokyo Electric Power Co (TEPCO) said the sensors, which were rigged to a gutter that pours rain and ground water at the Fukushima Daiichi plant to a nearby bay, detected contamination levels up to 70 times greater than the already-high radioactive status seen at the plant campus.

TEPCO said its emergency inspections of tanks storing nuclear waste water did not find any additional abnormalities, but the firm said it shut the gutter to prevent radioactive water from going into the Pacific Ocean.

The higher-than-normal levels of contamination were detected at around 10 am (0100 GMT), with sensors showing radiation levels 50 to 70 times greater than usual, TEPCO said.

….Adding to TEPCO’s headaches has been the persistent flow of groundwater from nearby mountains travelling under the contaminated plant before washing to the Pacific Ocean.

The International Atomic Energy Agency recently said TEPCO has made “significant progress” in cleaning up the plant, but suggested that Japan should consider ways to discharge treated waste water into the sea as a relatively safer way to deal with the radioactive water crisis.

6000% Increase in Cancer Rates at Fukushima

As reports from individuals like Chieko Shiina, a supporter of the Fukushima Collaborateive Clinic talk about exploding rates of thyroid cancer in children, as well as an epidemic of leukemia, heart attacks, and other health problems, the Abe-led government and US continue to sweep the fall out of the Fukushima disaster under the rug.

Cancer rates have exploded at an increase of almost 6000% in areas near the reactor meltdown. Aside from people-on-the-street interviews that a rare media outlet like “Hodo station” will report on, mainstream media stays completely silent. One Japanese resident, Carol Hisasue, laments that as the incident has disappeared from the media, it has also disappeared from people’s consciousness.

So why does Fukushima continue to be a see no evil, hear no evil event? You can watch an over hour-long report that goes into detail, but to sum it up, people can’t even turn on their gas-stoves near Fukushima because “it would be like burning radioactive fuel in their kitchens.” The contamination levels are too ridiculous to even comprehend….

The US is also responsible. After the spotlight was put on failing plants across the United States that continue to leak radiation into our air, water, and soil every day, the multi-billion dollar, US taxpayer-subsidized contracts of the nuclear industry came into question. And you can be sure any real inquiry into the infrastructure of our nuclear plants was hushed up as quickly as concerns were raised.

The World Health Organization once warned that cancer rates could soar 50% in less than 20 years – but we’ve already surpassed that estimate, which once seemed catastrophic, exponentially….

New York Times: “Ocean Life Faces Mass Extinction” — Fukushima

Williams Lake Tribune columnist Diana French wrote Jan 13, 2015: Out of sight is out of mind. Those of us living in the Interior might not know or care that sea creatures are sick, dying or disappearing at an alarming rate all along the Pacific coast. There are dying oysters, bleeding herring, melting star fish, hungry Orcas and sick seals. The latest are dead seabirds… Some blame ocean acidification for the devastation, others wonder if it’s radiation fallout from Fukushima. Whatever, it might be helpful to find the cause before all the creatures are gone.

University of California Santa Barbara, Jan 15, 2015: A consortium of scientists, including UC Santa Barbara’s Douglas McCauley, has found that the same patterns that led to the collapse of wildlife populations on land are now occurring in the sea… Their findings are published today in the journal Science… “All signs indicate that we may be initiating a marine industrial revolution,” [McCauley] said. “We are setting ourselves up in the oceans to replay the process of wildlife Armageddon that we engineered on land.”

New York Times, Jan 15, 2015: A team of scientists… has concluded that humans are on the verge of causing unprecedented damage to the oceans and the animals living in them. “We may be sitting on a precipice of a major extinction event,” said Douglas J. McCauley, an ecologist at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an author of the new research, which was published on Thursday in the journal Science.

Science — ‘Marine defaunation: Animal loss in the global ocean’, Jan 16, 2014: Loss of species in marine environments… appears to be increasing rapidly. McCauley et al. review the recent patterns of species decline and loss in marine environments… they note many worrying declines… our effects on marine animals are increasing in pace and impact… today’s low rates of marine extinction may be the prelude to a major extinction pulse… habitat destruction is likely to become an increasingly dominant threat to ocean wildlife [and] is likely to intensify as a major driver of marine wildlife loss. Proactive intervention can avert a marine defaunation disaster of the magnitude observed on land.

Fukushima in a Nutshell: Here is the Truth

It only takes 10 minutes of your time to find out the truth about Fukushima: it is slowly killing our planet… and mankind along with it. Radiation is cumulative, so it takes time to build up in our bodies. Unfortunately, by the time we will be able to take note of the damaging effects, it will already be too late.

And don’t take my word for it! A considerable number of highly educated people from Japan and all over the world have voiced out their concerns; yet, most of us seem to be – comfortably – ignoring them.

In an essay addressed to his colleagues, Japanese doctor Shigeru Mita has explained why he recently moved away from Tokyo. In his professional opinion, “Tokyo should no longer be inhabited”.

But it’s far worse than a local threat. A Japanese professor made a chilling warning. If we don’t do something about it ASAP, Fukushima can be a “world-ends-scenario”!

US sailors dead after Fukushima radiation

Rare cancers, blindness, birth defects and now, two deaths [reported by CBS San Francisco Nov. 21]. Hundreds of U.S. sailors… say they were exposed to dangerous levels of radiation… [Steve] Simmons… began feeling weak and sick with uncontrolled fevers… Soon he was in a wheelchair, unable to walk. He says military doctors would never tell him what was wrong. “Every one of them wanted to discredit radiation as a possible cause,” Simmons said… “[There’s] evidence that the doses that were assumed to be on board the USS Reagan may have been under-reported,” said Dr. Robert Gould, a former Kaiser pathologist… “Given that there is more information that has come out, I think you would have to re-look at the entire situation,” said Dr. Gould.

I was onboard the USS Ronald Reagan, [Kelli Serio wrote for Breitbart, and went] directly through a radiation cloud. The commanding officer warned us that our water and ventilation systems had been contaminated, posing a critical health risk to all of us onboard. We were advised to refrain from showering or drinking water… Sailors worked tirelessly… while being left vulnerable to dangerous levels of radiation… most of us onboard the ship were tested for radiation exposure and many came back positive, resulting in full-body scrubdowns… [W]e were issued gas masks… myself and other junior sailors were asked to don protective garments in an effort to decontaminate the ship… Proper medical care for the victims of radiation exposure [is needed, it’s a] dire situation for many… Many of us are enduring the unfortunate consequences [and] hoping for care from the VA that appears to never arrive… we are reassured of our good health, despite the presence of mysterious and unexplained symptoms… A lack of coverage by the mainstream media has left victims without a voice… We do not want to be forgotten.

Fukushima to Be Hit by Typhoon, Causing Ocean Contamination: Tepco

From RiaNovosti.com –

Tepco, the Tokyo Electric Power Company, has revealed that the approaching typhoon could hit the damaged, decommissioned 40-year old nuclear power facility Fukushima No.1, which was severely affected during the earthquake and tsunami in 2011.

“The deluge would likely cause seawater to mingle with the radiation-tainted water accumulating in the basements of the reactor buildings at the six-unit plant, allowing 100 trillion becquerels of cesium to escape, according to an estimate that Tepco revealed Friday at a meeting of the Nuclear Regulation Authority,” the Japan Times reports.

According to the media outlet, tidal waves from the storm are likely to reach a maximum height of 26.3 meters or more. The storm is likely to strike the Fukushima No.2 nuclear plant as well, but “its idled reactors and fuel pools” are not expected to be destroyed, Tepco officials assert.

It should be noted that the 2011 tsunami reached a height of 15.5 meters when it hit the plant, which was followed by a 9.0 magnitude earthquake.

US Gov’t: Nuclear Power Threatens Human Existence

By ENENEWS.com –

The Hill, Sept. 29, 2014 (emphasis added): Outgoing Energy Department Deputy Secretary Daniel Poneman said Monday that climate change, and nuclear energy are the two “existential threats” facing the U.S. In his last speech as the No. 2 [official] at the Department of Energy, Poneman [said Monday] “By my count there are exactly two issues that I think could be characterized as existential threats, meaning threats that actually relate to existence of our planet, and one’s nuclear and one’s climate”… Poneman played up the role of nuclear in dealing with climate change and replacing carbon-intensive fossil fuels, touting its benefits more than its potential dangers. While citing environmental concerns surrounding nuclear, and radiation dangers posed by meltdowns like the devastating Fukushima Diiachi plant in Japan in 2011, Poneman said, the “world is in fact returning to nuclear.” He admitted that the scale of damages from the Fukushima plant disaster were “extraordinary”… When asked if he was behind nuclear a main source of dealing with climate change, Poneman said he’s a “realist.” “We need to be safe, we need to address proliferation issues,” he said. “But it has a role to play in our low carbon future.”… Still, concerns from environmentalists remain as recent reports have highlighted weaknesses in nuclear facilities ability to handle natural disasters…

28 Proofs: West Coast absolutely fried with Fukushima Radiation

By Leuren Moret, Christina Consolo and Jim Fetzer – VeteransToday.com –

Something very strange is going on in California and New Mexico right now. Susan Duclos asks, Is it just a coincidence that just days after a report is released by ENENews that the leader of the Fukushima study stated that “Intense” radiation exposure was headed towards the US west coast with a plume traveling very fast and that “high concentrations” would impact the west coast with a prolonged period of radioactive upwelling expected, the highest of readings in San Diego, California and Albuquerque, New Mexico, suddenly vanish, go totally offline, and when they reappear those numbers have dropped by hundreds of Counts Per Minute?

Mid America Land Restoration/Microbes/Probiotics has been documenting the radiation readings across America for quite a while now on their Facebook page, and thanks to them we have the images from 9/18 – 9/20, showing extremely high levels of radiation, via the Nuclear Emergency Tracking Center. Using those, with images from this morning, show that something very strange has been going on.

Susan raises the prospects of whether the NETC site was hacked or “coincidentally” these particular areas went offline and returned showing levels massively lower than right before they went offline. But under the circumstances, the likelihood that the numbers are being “fixed” to avoid alarming the public appears to be overwhelmingly greater than any mere coincidence. Consider the difference…
