American citizens are being trained that their best friend or their closest neighbor could be a terrorist in ‘Community Awareness Program’ classes sponsored by the same DHS-linked non-profit group which was behind the infamous “Recognizing the Eight Signs of Terrorism” video, a PSA that suggested buying gold was a suspicious activity.
“The face of antiterrorism in Colorado includes a former Washington lobbyist, an ex-Marine from Lakewood whose wife gives him the evil eye when he’s sizing up potential threats at Denver International Airport, and a native New Yorker who refuses to ride on the subway and spends as little time as possible in high-rise buildings,” reports the Denver Post.
The story is little more than a promotional vehicle for ‘Community Awareness Program’ courses being run out of Lakewood Police Department in Denver, Colorado.
The classes are taught by Diana Woodson, an administrative assistant in the safety, security and facilities department of the Regional Transportation District. Woodson doesn’t just communicate her paranoia, she lives it, telling her students that although she hails from New York, upon her return she refuses to ride the subway or enter skyscrapers.

Federal officials claim two men from Georgia who are supposedly members of a militia planned a domestic terror attack with the deadly poison ricin.
Recent report finds FBI informers behind most domestic terror plots. Court documents state that 73-year-old Frederick Thomas told others in the “fringe group” that he intended to fashion his attack on the online novel “Absolved,” which involves small groups of citizens attacking U.S. officials. Fox News expert Mike Vanderboegh wrote the novel.
“In Vanderboegh’s novel, which was self-published online, underground militia fighters declare war on the federal government over gun control laws and same-sex marriage, leading to a second American revolution,” writes Matt Gertz for the Soros-funded Media Matters operation.
Gertz compares Vanderboegh’s novel to the to National Alliance founder William Pierce’s The Turner Diaries and links it to government agent Timothy McVeigh.
America’s “War on Terror” has devolved into a perpetual war in which the boundaries are not defined and the enemy is whoever a secret cabal within the Federal government decides.
Totalitarian nations throughout history have made war on their own citizens. The United States is doing the same and has in one degree or another for at least 150 years.
When Barack Hussein Obama stepped up to the podium and announced the successful assassination of two American citizens on Sept. 30 — Anwar al-Awlaki and Samir Khan — it was proof that America had finally died, Paul Craig Roberts writes. As for Americans, they have been cemented into a state of cognitive dissonance.
Cognitive dissonance is a psychological conflict resulting from incongruous beliefs and attitudes held simultaneously. Totalitarian regimes are successful when their subjects reach that state.
At a recent speaking event, Janet Napolitano, the secretary of homeland security stated, “The U.S. has become ‘categorically safer’ since 9/11, but cyber-terrorism now tops the list of security concerns.”
Her view is shared by the Bipartisan Policy Center’s National Security Preparedness Group. “Ten years after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, the nation faces a critical threat to its security from cyber-attacks,” the group asserts in a new report.
With its study, the group set about to determine the government’s progress in implementing security recommendations of the 9/11 Commission.
The consequences of a “credible and specific” warning that terrorists were planning to blow up bridges or tunnels on the anniversary of 9/11 turned into a police state showcase and ended in a farce when fighter jets were scrambled as a response to people visiting airplane bathrooms.
Following days of endless fearmongering prompted by a “reliable source” who provided “uncorroborated” information that Al-Qaeda was planning to strike this weekend, we were saturated with images of police brazenly violating the 4th amendment by conducting sweeping vehicle and bag searches, national guard troops with guns, and random checkpoints, all serving as a reminder that the terrorists really did win.
But what became of the deadly terror plot? Was the attempt foiled by the suffocating but necessary “security” procedures?
“Fighter planes were scrambled, bomb squads were called, FBI command centers went on alert and police teams raced to airports today, but in the end two separate airline incidents were caused by apparently innocent bathroom breaks and a little “making out,” federal officials said,” reports ABC News.
It’s been a decade since the attacks of 9-11. Since that time, the cost of the American government has more than doubled while American economic output has drastically slowed. Communication and public speech has suffered under the weight of the Patriot Act, and today, most Americans understand that their government tracks them and spies upon them. Travel across this beautiful land has been made more expensive, as fuel and food costs have skyrocketed. The new and wholly un-American Department of Homeland Security has settled in for the long war, apparently against the American people and American traditions of liberty.
A recent Frontline television program outlined the research effort by two reporters at the Washington Post in describing a “Top Secret” America. The real federal jobs program in the last decade has been in surveillance, monitoring, and intelligence-development – of Americans on American soil.
In the decade after 9-11, Washington, D.C. launched repeated land wars, government takeovers, and nation-building, first in Afghanistan, then in Iraq, and later in Yemen, Somalia, Pakistan and now Libya. None of these wars, all sold as “wars against terrorism” were granted any public congressional debate, and none entailed a Congressional declaration of war.
The anniversary of 9/11 offers an ideal opportunity to remind Americans, especially New Yorkers, that they live in a police state.

From NBC New York on Thursday:
New Yorkers can expect to see extra subway bag checks, vehicle checkpoints and more police officers throughout the city as U.S. intelligence officials have picked up threat information about possible terror attacks to coincide with the 10th anniversary of 9/11.
The “threat information” is of the usual caliber – uncorroborated and unsubstantiated. “But we live in a world where we must take these threats seriously, and we will,” promised New York mayor Michael Bloomberg. “We know the terrorists regard the anniversary as an opportunity to strike again.” He was flanked by Police Commissioner Ray Kelly and Janice K. Fedarcyk, the director of the FBI in New York.
One look at your TV guide over the next 10 days will tell you everything you need to know about how petrified the establishment is over the flimsy credibility of the official 9/11 fable.
Naturally, the 10-year anniversary of the attacks would be expected to merit a deluge of media coverage, but what sticks out is the overbearing emphasis on countering so-called “conspiracy theories” about the events of that day, or in other words, reinforcing the official “conspiracy theory” that 19 poorly trained Arab hijackers were able to cripple America’s air defenses and make three giant steel-framed structures crumble to the ground at near free fall speed.
The BBC couldn’t even wait until the month of September itself to air their latest 9/11 truth hit piece earlier this week, and another is planned for next weekend. The damage done by the Building 7 fiasco, where BBC reporter Jane Standley is seen reporting the collapse of WTC 7 before it happens, a clip seen by millions, prompted the public broadcaster to launch a sustained dogmatic assault on anyone who dared question either 9/11 or 7/7.
CBS News correspondent Bob Orr has obtained never before seen footage of firefighters searching for survivors in the subway lines below the World Trade Center. The video was captured by FEMA in the days following the September 11 attacks.
In a few days it will be the tenth anniversary of September 11, 2001. How well has the US government’s official account of the event held up over the decade?
