About

David Allen McElroy was born in 1952, the first of twelve children, defender of little ones. Having been fellowshipping in Baptist circles since birth, he sought truth, justice, and liberty for all in Christ’s love. He pursued journalism first, and covered government activities extensively in several states beginning at The Daily Guardian at Wright State University. He exposed a major scandal there as news editor, and vowed to finish his education in a Christian school. Fresno Pacific College, a Mennonite school, awarded his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical & Religious Studies and Journalism. After his nationwide story of a corrupt newspaper chain publisher in 1989, disgusted with news media, McElroy decided to pursue church work. McElroy was licensed for Gospel Ministry in 2001 by West High Baptist Church after having begun a ministry to nursing homes and hospitals in Phoenix, AZ. He served as a volunteer chaplain at Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center here in Alamogordo. A mild stroke sidelined him and he continues his ministry as a “watchman on the wall” by writing with a Christian libertarian perspective in the Jeffersonian influence. No king but Jesus! Live free or die!

David A. McElroy is a Christian writer semi-retired. His ministry as a “watchman on the wall” is informal. Donations are welcome but not tax-deductible. Avoiding the IRS muzzle of 501(c)3 and other statist traps of incorporation is important in serving Christ as King. Please help him hold his arm up in pointing Christian soldiers to the enemy!
